Amir is a sustainability leader and commercial change agent with a Big 4 consulting background and a track record of designing and delivering innovative, scalable solutions. Since joining MS Amlin in a newly created role, he has helped position sustainability as a source of strategic growth as well as responsibility. He leads MS Amlin’s ESG Re proposition, deploying underwriting capacity to build a resilience-focused portfolio that contributes directly to P&L while unlocking new revenue streams in underserved markets. Through blended finance structures and innovative risk-sharing mechanisms with multilateral and humanitarian partners, he has mobilised private capital at scale and positioned MS Amlin at the forefront of adaptation and resilience finance. Beyond MS Amlin, he drives cross-group collaboration across MS&AD’s international businesses and serves as Global Sustainability Leadership co-chair, strengthening alignment and amplifying impact across the Group. Prior to joining MS Amlin, Amir led a sustainable finance start-up and was formerly a Director at KPMG. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant and a trustee at Blood Cancer UK where he chairs the Finance and Investment Committee.
