Jack Nichols is a senior legal counsel and board advisor with nearly two decades of experience supporting international organisations and the private sector, with a particular focus on innovative finance for health and development. At Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, Jack has led legal strategy for their innovative financing mechanisms, including vaccine bonds through IFFIm and frontloading of finance through development banks, and their deployment of funding for vaccine programming in fragile contexts. He previously advised at the Green Climate Fund on leveraging co-financing from the multilateral, bilateral and private sectors for impactful climate mitigation and adaptation. He is also a board advisor at C3, providing insight for their work to support social impact start-ups in the Middle East and Africa.
