Kjell Forsberg is Assistant Director General and Head of Trade , Private Sector and Financial Instruments at The Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida) since 2025. The division was established in 2025 to strengthen the capability to mobilize additional capital for Development Finance.

Prior to joining Sida, Mr K jell Forsberg spent more then 8 years at the Swedish Export Credit Agency (EKN) as Deputy Director Large Corporates and since 2018 with a specific focus on financing of critical large infrastructure projects.

Before joining EKN Mr Kjell Forsberg spent more than 20 years in the private sector in various leadership positions in both research & development and business units in Sweden and abroad.
